“Series of Teaching Foreigners Chinese Grammar” is the achievement of “Research and Development of Grammar Syllabus for Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language and Teaching Reference Grammar Series (Multi-volume)”, a major project of National Social Science Fund of China sponsored by Professor Qi Huyang, which has been selected as the “2022 Founding Project of National Publication Foundation”. As an important reference book for international Chinese language education, it aims to build and improve the “Grammar System of Chinese Teaching” for foreign students to meet the development needs of the new era. It mainly serves the first-line Chinese teachers, researchers, graduate students and undergraduates majoring in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages. This series consists of 39 volumes, including 4 outline series, 26 book series, 8 summary series, and 1 collection of essays.
Belonging to the review series, this book
comprehensively and systematically displays the research achievements of the vocabulary acquisition of Chinese as a second language in the past
20 years, and classifies and introduces in detail the research
achievements of lexical error analysis, second language vocabulary processing
and interlanguage vocabulary development, the internal and external influencing
factors of vocabulary acquisition, as well as the quantitative study of
vocabulary acquisition and the acquisition of words with cultural features.
Moreover, it makes an objective and practical analysis and evaluation, and
illustrates the space for further discussion, development or breakthrough.
Fan Wei is a doctor in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics from
Shanghai Normal University and postgraduate tutor in the International College
for Chinese Studies of Nanjing Normal University, whose research mainly focuses
on modern Chinese grammar and Chinese second language acquisition. She has
published several papers in professional journals such as Language Teaching
and Linguistic Studies and one academic monograph, and written several
textbooks.
Li Xianzhuo is a doctor in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics from
Sun Yat-sen University and associate professor in the International College for
Chinese Studies of Nanjing Normal University. His research mainly focuses on Chinese
language acquisition and processing. Mr. Li has published more than ten papers
in such journals as Applied Linguistics, TCSOL Studies, Foreign
Language World, and Acta Psychologica Sinica.
Ding Ping is a doctor in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics from
Shanghai Normal University and associate professor in the Department of Chinese
Language and Literature, Northwest Minzu University, whose research mainly
focuses on modern Chinese grammar and linguistic theory. She has published
several papers in journals such as Chinese Language Learning and Journal
of Lanzhou University.
