Among all the components of language, words and phrases reflect the ethnic and cultural characteristics most. Thus, the teaching of vocabulary is becoming increasingly the focus of second language education. This book comprehensively uses the theories of modern vocabulary, cognitive linguistics and cultural linguistics and selects the most typical word groups in Chinese and English to compare and study.
